Cody is a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional and serves as the Director of Planning for Summit Financial Group, LLC; an independent comprehensive financial planning and wealth management firm.

In addition to earning his CFP® designation, Cody also holds his Series 6, 7, and 63 securities registrations as well as a California Life and Health License #0G88314. 

As an advisor Cody helps clients achieve their financial goals through a creative and comprehensive planning process that includes planning for retirement, investment and portfolio design, risk management, tax management, college planning, estate planning and wealth transfer.

As the Director of Planning, Cody oversees all the existing and ongoing comprehensive plans developed for Summit’s clients. The planning work Cody does for Summit is critical for the long term strategies and goal completion of Summit's valued clients.

Initially, Cody attended college at Oregon State University and completed his BS degree in Financial Services and Economics at Chico State University. While at Chico, Cody was a starting member of 2 consecutive NCAA College World Series teams. A dedicated athlete for life, Cody’s time spent outside the office includes playing soccer, tennis, basketball, and speed training.

Cody is also passionate about music, art, history, design, traveling and the outdoors, and spending time with family members.
