Rachel serves as an Associate Advisor at Summit, working alongside advisor John O’Dea helping individuals, families, and business owners gain greater clarity, structure, and purpose in their financial lives. She is passionate about identifying opportunities clients may not immediately see and equipping them with the tools and guidance needed to make confident, informed decisions. Her approach reflects a thoughtful, planning-driven philosophy focused on creating meaningful, long-term value.
Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in business management and entrepreneurship from the University of Tennessee, following her studies in economics at Santa Barbara City College. Her academic experience built a strong foundation in strategic thinking and opportunity analysis—skills she applies directly in her work with clients today.
During her time in school, she was actively involved in clubs and volunteer efforts centered on community engagement, reinforcing her commitment to service, growth, and purposeful leadership.
Rachel’s introduction to Summit began as an intern, where she was first exposed to the team’s planning philosophy. That experience sparked her passion for financial services and shaped her commitment to delivering thoughtful guidance.
Outside of the office, Rachel stays connected to her roots in cheerleading by coaching at her former high school, where she enjoys mentoring and supporting the next generation. She also enjoys staying physically active, exploring new restaurants, and embracing opportunities to step outside her comfort zone.
